§ 01 — The Piece

Built Slow.
Meant To Last.

This isn't a decal. It isn't a print. Every element on this flag is routed, raised, torched, and finished by hand in the shop — the same way the first one went out the door.

The union is recessed and hand-darkened to throw the stars forward in raw pine. The Star of Life is carved proud of the stripes, blacked out against the grain so it reads from across the room. The whole panel is torch-finished to drive the grain out of the wood, then sealed to hold its tone through the years.

How long until it ships? +
Every flag is built to order. Standard build time is 2–3 weeks from the day your order is confirmed. Personalization (name, unit, department badge) doesn't add time in most cases. If you need it by a specific date — retirement, graduation, promotion — email the shop and we'll tell you straight whether we can hit it.
How do I order and pay? +
Email Sales@trulywooden.com with the product, any personalization, and your ship-to address. You'll get a written quote back, a deposit invoice, and a build slot. Final payment is due when the flag is crated and ready to ship.
How should I care for it? +
Hang it indoors or under cover. Dust with a dry microfiber — that's it. No sprays, no cleaners, no oils. The torch finish and sealer were chosen to hold up without any maintenance on your end. Keep it out of direct rain and prolonged UV and it will outlast the house it hangs in.
Do you ship outside the US? +
Yes — crated international shipping is available and quoted per destination. Email the shop with your country and postal code and we'll come back with a freight number.
What's your return policy? +
Because every flag is made to order — and most are personalized — we don't accept returns on standard orders. That said: if your flag arrives damaged, or anything is wrong on our end, you send one photo and we'll make it right. Full stop.
Can you build for a full department or station? +
Absolutely. Retirement gifts, promotion gifts, memorial pieces, and full-station orders are a meaningful chunk of the shop's work. Email with the quantity and timeline and we'll work out pricing and a build schedule together.
